20 acres of wetland forest, planted with predominantly native species that have shown extraordinary growth rates and that already created a habitat for birds, amphibians, fish, butterflies and other insects. 18 months into the project we have managed to turn a monotonous grass land into a rich and diverse forest.

Green School Project
To celebrate 50 years of Auroville, Auroville Botanical Gardens fenced and planted in 55 schools in the neighboring schools.
The green school project has been implemented in the schools of the Auroville bio-region to increase the greenery in schools and to build a bond between the nature and the students.
